Advertisers targeting pan-African markets have a new option in the shape of the continent's first television broadcasting network, TVAfrica. Modelled on the American networks like NBC and ABC except that it operates across boundaries, TVAfrica offers programming packages to its members, sells regional and local advertising and, in some cases, manages TV stations.
